Earplugs

Which earplugs should I pick?

Silicone Earplugs (A$25): soft, low-profile loop, four tip sizes and a case. The everyday all-rounder. Ring Earplugs (A$39): glossy two-tone ring, three tip sizes. Are they hearing protection?

No. They're comfort earplugs: they soften snoring, housemates, traffic and cabin noise so you can rest, focus or sleep. They don't silence a room and they're not rated for harmful noise like shooting, industrial or concert environments. Smoke alarms and alarms should still be heard. Keep away from children under 3.

Can I sleep on my side with them?

Yes. They sit in the bowl of your ear rather than sticking out, so there's nothing for the pillow to push on.

Can I wear the silicone ones at the pool?

They're water-resistant silicone, so a splash won't hurt them. They're designed as comfort earplugs, not swim plugs, so we don't promise they keep water out. Rinse and dry them after use.

How do I clean them?

Rinse the tips in warm soapy water, let them air dry and keep them in their case.

Does the mask work for side sleepers?

Yes. The contoured cups sit around your eyes, not on them, and the strap adjusts flat so there's nothing hard pressing into the pillow.

How do I wash the mask or the wrap?

Hand wash in cool water with mild detergent and air dry in the shade. No machine wash, no tumble dry.

How long does delivery take?

Shipping is free and tracked, Australia-wide. Standard averages 12 business days; express is A$18.95 and averages 6 business days. You get the tracking link by email as soon as your order leaves the warehouse.

What if it doesn't work for me?

Every order has a 30-day money-back guarantee. If something isn't doing the job, email hello@dayblind.com.au with your order number within 30 days of delivery and we'll refund it. Nothing here limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law: if something is faulty, we repair, replace or refund it.
